Product Description This is the print version of the Official Manual for Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT. It is one of the most successful psychology self-help manuals ever published EFT is a remarkable new technique which uses the body's natural stress-reduction points. When organized into the EFT "basic recipe," self-stimulation of these points by toucing or tapping has been demonstrated to rapidly reduce anxiety, depression, phobias and other conditions. EFT originator Gary Graig takes the reader through the basic steps of identifying the emotional roots of their problems, and crafting a combination of words that will trigger a healing response. He then demonstrates the one-minute healing routine that is the basis of EFT. He discusses the ways in which EFT can be applied to a variety of common conditions, including pain, fears, addictions and cravings, weight issues, insomnia and guilt.

The basic book on EFT September 1, 2010 kris stadelman (delaware) This is the basic manual on EFT: perfect for beginners and should be in any library of those who are exploring energy healing. This is the next breakthrough in psychology and will change virtually all psychological practices in the next 10 years. Essentially EFT, or Tapping, allows you to address the subconscious mind directly without hypnosis. This is a huge breakthrough for treating phobias, addictions, general tension, etc. This list is endless. If you are into psychological growth, personal empowerment, dealing with loss, in fact, just about any physical or psychological problem can achieve some relief with this technique. Gary Craig is the father of EFT, and although many have expanded his techniques, it's a good idea to know the basics. (I prefer Faster EFT with Robert Smith.) I'm not much for New Age beliefs (often WAY too far out for me,) but I can't begin to tell you what a great tool EFT offers you. This is not a one-shot deal, you have to work at it and put some time in, but the results are nothing short of phenomenal. I have had problems with carpal tunnel for years (left over from road racing motorcycles) within a month I have reduced my symptoms by almost 90%! Check out [...] for more info. It will change your life!
extremely simplistic not worth full price June 28, 2010 lulu3 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Only about 20 pages with actual technique, the rest is all his case work and history. Can probably download same info on line.

This manual takes you through the steps of ETM, Emotional Freedom Techniques. The tapping techniques they teach in this manual are very effective in relieving stress, pain, discomfort, and releasing emotional baggage. It is easy to do, can be done in just a few minutes and I enjoy a great sense of peace each time I use these techniques. It is wonderful to have a technique that does not require drugs or procedures! A Must Read!!!

EFT Manual March 30, 2010 JMK (San Antonio, TX USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well written explanation of EFT. Gary Craig is the founder and best source for information about EFT.
I thought it would'nt work either. February 20, 2010 Zardoz (CA) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
After reading some of the negative reviews claiming that EFT
is nothing more than quakery, cold reading, snake oil etc,
I thought I would respond.
I'm highly suspcious and criticial by nature. I'm not much of
a "believer" in anything. I know what cold reading is and I understand the mindset of those who seek a panacea. And those seek easy answers to complex and substantial problems.
I didn't think EFT would work for me. A friend introduced me
to meridian therapies and I was doubtful and highly resistant
to even trying tapping. However I am the kind of person who sticks to the decisions I make and because of a friends urging I tried EFT.
I worked with EFT for about two hours a night. Within a month
The following happened.
12 years of significant back pain went away for good after 2 intense
EFT sessions.
35 years of a chronic, daily Post Traumatic Stress Disorder went away, never to return after 6 eft sessions.
Numerous other emotional issues evaporated over the course of the month.
My mind feels much clearer now. I have more relaxed point of view. I saved a relationship from parting by becoming a non stressed person. My work is easier to do now. Life is easier. I do eft every day on the little and big stresses that pop up. Its interesting, fascinating and powerful.
EFT is easy to learn and once you learn it, there is nothing more to buy. Its based on acupunture, which has about 4000 years of recorded use. To the skeptics; IT WORKS whether you like it or not!
THIS Book is the OFFICIAL MANUAL by the MAN who started EFT. Isn't this the intelligent place to begin? There are many deviations of EFT (all good), but this is the one Manual where you will the form that has helped hundreds of thousands of people around the world. This is the first book to buy on EFT. After that check out Carol Look's book on EFT and Abundance.
If you're on the fence about EFT, its time to spend ten bucks and give yourself an opportunity to experience the power of meridian tapping.
